Conference Council Overview

Purpose

To be responsible for coordinating all aspects of planning and logistics for the Minnesota Section Annual Fall Conference.

Action Items/Tasks

  • Provide educational opportunities.
  • Secure a site and negotiate a contract with the proposed facility for the Annual Conference (Conference location and final contract is subject to approval by the Board).
  • Work with others to prepare announcements, show setup and schedule for the Annual Conference.
  • Prepare a detailed budget for the Annual Conference and present to the Board for approval.
  • Work together with Conference Facilities to provide all arrangements for the Conference.
